I didn't want to have to leave a bad review, but sadly did not have any other choice as my attempts to speak with the owner did not work. I've been a long-time client here at Illusions, on Saturday 5/18 I came in for a color service with my usual stylist. The result wasn't great so I came back for a color correction on Friday 5/24 with my stylist, who was more than happy to fix the blending/choppy/and bad coloring. I came back on Saturday 5/25 to speak with the owner because I was still not happy with how the blending in the front looked. After attempting a root melt (their words not mine) with too dark a brown (see photos) the stylist attempted to remove all of the color with a color remover and went back in with a different color using foils. All of this was done to the very front of my hair and along my hairline around my face. So the majority of my head remained highlighted with blonde but the front was almost black. The end result was my hair looking like crap. I was told by the stylist that the owner, who would not come out from the back of the salon, that there wasn't anything else they could do that day and I should make another appointment to come back. I tried to speak with the owner that day, but like I mentioned, she wouldn't come out from the back. I've attempted to speak with the owner by leaving messages on Facebook, calling the salon and leaving messages with the girls who answered, and voicemails when the phone wasn't answered. I went to another salon to have my hair fixed and ended up having to have length removed because of all the processing that was done left my hair fried and dead. I'd like my $130 refunded from my original appointment.

Significant cut into my heel while receiving a pedicure. Not only is it very painful, but I was still charged. I do not recommend this place. Hoping the wound doesn't become infected. No more flip flops for me this summer.
