My first experience with Artistic Edge: I went in for a haircut, communicated my hairs "challenges" - thinning hair and a colic. The stylist said "I'll fix it." With that she cut my hair so short!!!! It was an extreme haircut. It was a great cut technically - just not a cut I wanted. Now I have no problem with an extreme haircut. I do have a problem with someone giving me an extreme cut when I have not asked for it, and when her intentions were not communicated. By the time I realized what was happening, it was too late. On the way home - in the car I kept telling myself it couldn't be as bad as I first thought. But my mirror at home told me it was bad. My hair was so short I couldn't even shape it with a brush. I emailed the stylist - the owner of the salon - hoping to talk with her and get some styling hints. No response. I called her and left a VM. Again - no response. Then I figure she did respond. Her response was - too bad - I don't care.
After 3 months, since as I said it was technically a good cut - I asked if she could give me the same cut - only not as short. I made and appointment. When I arrived, she was just starting to give someone else gel nails. That is a 30-45 minute process. She gave me magazines expecting me to wait the 45 minutes.
