I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Dr. Azi performed the robotic laparoscopic colectomy and my experience was excellent. Dr. Azi was very professional taking the time to answer any/all questions and explaining everything that would occur prior to surgery, while in the hospital, and during my recovery. I was only in the hospital 48 hours and my outcome has been very positive with absolutely no adverse side affects plus a speedy recovery to my normal pre-surgery diet and exercise routines.

Very professional and competent. Had major rectal cancer surgery. Dr. Azimuddin made me feel safe. Procedures went well. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Azimuddin is a fabulous doctor/surgeon. I am very inquisitive I like to understand the assessment, and the resolution defined by my doctor. Amazingly some doctors do not appreciate this, Dr. Azimuddin does! He likes informed patients, he explains very well, he is extremely realistic and truthful.
Although I found his bed side manner phenomenal in truth I would deal with anyone provided they could resolve the issue. The issues had persisted for 6 months with a week stay in the hospital, several tests, doctors, medicines and thousands of thousands dollars later I still had no resolution.
Dr. Azzimuddin diagnosed and resolved the issue in 2 weeks. Although he is a surgeon his first statement was not let’s cut you open and see what is happening (as I had been told by another surgeon). He said let’s do one more test surprisingly, this was the simplest of all the tests I had in the last 6 months. This test showed the issue immediately. He scheduled surgery the following week, operated, and fixed the issue, that was in sept. 2015. I recovered for 4-6 week after and have no residual effects. His staff was competent and friendly. Once my wife had a concern which she called the office, and the Dr. returned her call to discuss her concern. He is involved with his patients from start to finish. God willing I won’t need him again, but if you are in need of a GI/Colon surgeon I highly recommend him.

Dr. Azimuddin was referred to us by my husband's urologist when it was discovered that he had a fistula and required surgery. We could not have been happier with the care that Dr. Azimuddin provided. Not only is he a gifted surgeon but a genuine person who truly cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of colon surgery.

I was rushed into surgery for an intestinal rupture and Dr. Azimuddin was the surgeon that performed my emergency surgery. I was very scared as were my four grown children, but Dr. Azimuddin was so honest and straightforward about the seriousness of my condition but also reassured me and my family that he would do everything he could. He performed the colostomy surgery and saved my life. From that day forward, he has been a blessing to me. He is always honest, very upfront with me and my family and never made us feel like we couldn't ask questions. He makes you feel like you are his only patient and you know he truly cares. He performed my reversal surgery after three months and I am healing well. I would highly recommend Dr. Azi (as we call him) for any of your colorectal needs. He is truly one of a kind.
