I kept hearing I needed to see a counselor. In addition to struggling with my faith, the shame of my past and fear others would find out was overwhelming. I almost did not go to see Dennis because he was a Christian counselor.
I expected a minister to just add to the shame I felt. I could not have been more wrong. Sessions with Dennis have been amazingly uplifting, helpful, and very practical. Not that I was given simple platitudes for fixes its. What Dennis provided was a safe, supportive place to wrestle with my problems. I leave each session feeling thankful to God that I found a and the help I needed to heal and deal with issues of life.

I found him. Yeah !!!! Glad to see Dennis is still offering counseling services in Farmville. My son was devastated when we got the call he had left HFT.

Calling him right now to book my next appointment.

What an answer to prayer !

Dennis Gowin is a great counselor. His helped me with a range of problems from dealing with my teenagers, to helping me with problems in my professional life. Great guy, I felt he was really wanted to help me, not just asked me how I felt about that.

Dennis is a great counselor. He has helped our family greatly.
We had taken our son to several counselors and it was always a fight.

My loves working with Dennis and we have seen amazing progress!!!!
