Winston Manor is an unsuitable facility. There elevator has been broken for more than 3 months. The building has four floors.Their residents are elderly and have physical limitations as well.

Unsafe place for seniors. The elevator is always broke and people get stuck inside most of the time. They're lacking in privacy where female and male patient shower together in the same bathroom at the same time. Administration does'nt care really much about patient.

The waiting area was a bit busy. Multiple people were about as there were not enough seats. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all. I felt very safe in their care. I felt I could trust them. Admittedly, a nursing home with many types and many issues, but it seemed like they cared and tried really hard with the resources at hand. It would have been nice if there were more carpeting, but on the other hand, everyone seemed like they were content and milling about. What should a place that might take in your 80yo parent with dementia look like? Can they even go to the bathroom by themselves now? How can you make that better? Just what are you options? Do you have a choice? This place seemed as good as any. It is nearby so you can visit and they have been around for decades.
