I am dismayed by the reviews given to this place. I had my aunt put there in 1994, with the knowledge it was a very nice place. If I had lived in Buffalo, I would have checked on her, I live in California. Her money was gone in a year to pay for the care I thought was good. $78,00000. I sincerely hope by this time, your facility has improved in the care and conditions acceptable for the care of patients.
Very dirty and unsafe for residents. My sister-in-law has had things stolen...nursing staff is short handed and it is filthy. I would not feed the food they give her to my own dogs. It is depressing and run down.
Never seen such a awful place in my life,Very dirty, ect,With 92 degree weather and no air conditioning for all the residents, who them selfs even complained I really feel sorry for them,Like well over a 100 in there rooms, had my mom there for a total of 2 weeks, and was enough for me,took her out,and now she is in a beautiful place with air and all,Had my moms room all set up,I come back her clothes were taken out of her dresser, and diapers and bed liners were in there,Plus she had her perfume and clothes missing,But no one knew nothing,The place smells, very bad, spots on the rugs that look like they havent been cleaned in yrs, just awfull,So please be carefull if you plan to have someone placed there. The staff is very limited, you could never find anyone when you needed one, ect,Just ashame, glad my mom is out,So please check place out completly.......
A family member is a resident at this facility, so I visit often and have contact with the social worker. I contacted this agency's social worker to offer to bring my therapy dogs in to visit with their residents. It seemed like she was annoyed that I contacted her and simply said she knew nothing about this. I asked if she could refer me to someone that may know something, but my question was never answered. I understand they're busy, but they should really treat people better.
