Kind of, it wasn't unbearable but it was definitely loud

Definitely not! I was constantly interrupted or cut off!

Not at all, they seemed stuck in the past

Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond

Hi I visit a friend in this facility he is in his 80s, his room had ants for the longest time in his room, now the nursing home cut way back very few aids which means you will wait a long time. If you MUST PUT SOMEBODY IN THIS FACILITY plan on spending quite a bit of time there to help your friend or loved one. I saw holes on the bottom sheet, the food is BAD, in the summer time in the dinning room they will not put on a tiny air conditioner on as they have too many oxygen tanks plugged in the room blows a fuse. The sweat will run down you, if you visit plan on eating lunch in there room. A few nurses and aids are nice the rest of them in my opinion are only there for a pay check. BEWARE OF THE HEAD NURSE.......She is very RUDE and Snotty a lot of complaints but they keep her. A resident gets a bath once a week not much entertainment in music the band or person that is supposed to show up always cancel at least once a month. They change staff there all the time. There garbage service was cancelled twice this year, due to not paying there bill and the garbage was overflowing very smelly that is when we were in the high 90s in temp, a lot of residents falling all the time, they have daily escapees what does that tell you if they loved the place they would not escape. I walked in one morning at 4.00am found a poor old lady trying to get into a visitors rest room, come to find out after reporting it to a nurse she was shut out of her unit, her gown was soiled I am unable to tell you how long she was out there. I do know she was not far from the front door gosh forbid if she got out. I saw her family a couple of days later they said she was in this facility for 6 days and she fell out of bed twice and called her daughter up in nj and told her she was going to . such a sad story, Another time I saw a lady crying in her wheelchair I asked her if she was okay she replied No so I alerted a aid, the aid looked at me and then looked at the resident and just walked away. There is loving compassionate care for you at valley view manor. I saw a man in his wheelchair he told all the staff and visitors he was going home that evening actually he was looking for a ride what did he do he left the facility nobody saw him it was around 8.15pm at night. I watched a guy beat the alarm system his foot was out the front door.
