The administrator Roger is a joke. He came into the dining room and told the residents "there are starving people in the world, you are all fed too much food, from now on you will get less food4;. after the comment he walked off. we were all shocked. Was that suppose to be a joke? Really how does that make a resident feel? Especially ones who are under weight? He's a jerk. In the summer he wont let us turn on the air and in the winter very little heat. All the nurses are rude and ignorant acting. You can find all of them somewhere eating or smoking,.

You can tell that the new owner loves his work and has a passion for what he does; anytime someone new is calling the shots they indeed are expected to take a few. I have known the owner for years and respect him very much; I believe he is the best thing that has happened to Silverbrook.

Not entirely sure what the previous comments were about. Silverbrook didn't even have a website up until about 3 days ago. There is no issue with the psychiatric medications for residents. Their survey was fantastic so not sure what that comment was about earlier. Let's face it, Silverbrook was really a lousy place for many years. Sadly, the ones who ultimately paid the price for their bad practices were their residents. The building was owned by a corporation that didn't care about anything but making money. That corporation no longer owns or operates this building and that is a great thing. From what I have heard, the new owner is the administrator and he oversees every aspect of operation at Silverbrook. He is a Christian man and while that doesn't make him perfect or anything, it means that he at least is going to treat others as he would like to be treated. I was told that they pray every morning during their morning meeting.
They are really going in the right direction now and it is important to give them a chance. They are working hard and are doing alot of good in our community. They really are and if there is one thing that this community needs it is more help. With the tanked economy, record unemployment and all kinds of other issues, if someone is going to help and provide great care to families and their loved ones. Let them do it.

They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all. The one thing I couldn't believe during my appointment was that they took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. I was a little disappointed at how helpful the staff was when I called with my questions and concerns. They definitely could have been more polite. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in.

my mother in law is in this facility and we are so pleased with the care she receives here! Staff members are so patient with her and often stop in to talk to her even if they aren't assigned to her hall.
