i do not know about others for our family and my dad taking him
to this facility it was the worse mistake ever i will never ever recommend this place to no one. i really do not understand how
they are rated they must pay or have their own people do the reviews

I brought my mother here for short term rehabilitation care occupational and physical therapy. The building is not the prettiest on the outside but its filled with warmth on the inside. Debbie is my mothers social worker she is wonderful and patient. My mother could not make it home but I feel very safe leaving her in their care. Her doctor calls me back when I call her to address her medicine. The only bad thing I can say is sometimes its hard to find a parking spot during the day during the week. This place is rated 5 stars by Medicare which also makes me feel good. The nurses always help me if I have questions.

My father stayed at this place for two months. He had a stroke and had to have a breathing tube put in his neck at the hospital. After 3 weeks at Portchester, the Dr. had the breathing tube removed from his neck. He breathed perfectly. After the tube was taken out he could eat. He wanted food from but they worked with my father to make him happy with the food they had at the rehabilitation center. The woman who brought us into the place was very nice. If I had a problem, she would help us. The girl at the front was always nice and smiled.

My Mother felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. I plan on telling everyone I know about how fabulous this nursing home is. Its really a place you can trust. The Rehabilitation Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a question regarding my mothers medication and I spoke with the Dr. right away. They made sure every single question I had was answered. My mother was sent home with homecare after her Rehabilitation was complete.
