They seem to care about their patients more then some of the other nursing homes that I have been inside.

I visited my mother here. She and others were sitting at nurses's station begging for help to go to bathroom. This was on a Sat. afternoon around 3 pm. All nurses and aides were laughing and talking among themselves. They paid no attention to the residents. My mother was crying when I walked up. Staff was unfriendly and did not acknowledge me or the resident. This was my first visit here. I called the Social Worker another day and she was very rude to me. My stepfather placed my mom at this horrible facility. I would not let my dog live in this place. I did ask to talk with the admin. and I was told that she came in at 9 and then to a meeting until 10:30. I was unable to secure an appt. to discuss my concerns. These people don't deserve even one star. M next move is a call to DHEC or ACLU.

Never! I don't think I've ever been put on hold here for a long time

Absolutely! I'm always able to get my questions answered over the phone right away!

They are prepared for my appointment and remember somethings about me. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the best. There was only a couple of times where the staff was not actually able to answer my questions. They'd refer me to their boss or another staff member. Nurses and CNA are wonderful, friendly. However having a lot of staff turnover. I have never met the Administrator or Director of Nurses. When seeing them at their desk they don't seem very friendly or welcoming. At other nursing homes the Director of Nurses and Administrator always introduce themselves. Laura is always friendly and will go out of her way to speak to me. They were somewhat easy to reach in an emergency. They didn't answer the call at first, but did eventually call me back. Odor is getting better.

All the time, and they usually don't notify me until right before my scheduled appointment

Staff is not friendly...dont acknowledge you half the time. Laura is good but no follow through.. CNA dont document much but a few act as if they really care... Several incidents of neglect. Do not and would never recommend facility to anyone. People should be respected with dignity and cared for...not just a job!

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. They will not return calls nor will the staff answer any questions put point blank. I spoke with Laura

Not very well. I had to really look for it before I found it.
