My mother spent time at ManorCare Yardley after each of her knee surgeries. She also spent about 4 years in their long term care wing when she fell and injured her leg. The staff there is very helpful and kept us informed of all kinds of different things. There is also a quarterly care conference where they go over all things related to the care of their patients. I've always been very pleased with the level of care that my mother received and she never had a single complaint. She was very happy to be at ManorCare. The physical therpy department worked very well with my mother whenever a mobility problem arose. The staff at ManorCare also helped us with all the goverment forms that had to be filled out. They were also able to answer our questions and provide guidence. I'm very thankful for their assistance.

I don't see how anyone could feel negatively about this place, but alas, a person is entitled to his or her opinion.

My experience with the staff and this community, in general, has been extremely positive. My mother entered Manor Care-Yardley at age 95, having come from two different nursing care/rehab facilities in the few months prior to her admittance.

She was not in good physical or emotional health upon entering MC-Yardley a year ago (Incidentally, my sister, who has her B.S.N. as well as over thirty years of nursing experience, gave her no more than six months to a year to live). When she came to MC-Yardley she was considered "failure to thrive" as she was severely underweight and undernourished and seemed to exhibit a flat affect. She was also showing definite signs of dementia at that time.

Since she entered MC-Yardley her dementia has increased - no fault of theirs, obviously -- but her physical condition, appetite and overall health have improved. She went in there weighing a mere 82 pounds or so and has gained enough weight where she is no longer regarded as failure to thrive or severely underweight.

She has had no bedsores or other infections while at MC-Yardley and the staff is vigilant to the highest degree. I don't work for Manor Care and have nothing personal to gain from this positive review. I do feel, however, that the staff employed by MC-Yardley deserves much more than thumps on the head and derogatory reviews because, as you can see, my family's experience has been outstanding.

Never. I don't think they care about helping their clients save money

No. I didn't trust their motives.

Absolutely not, the office was disgusting

As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. Every time I'd ask a question, it seemed like they were annoyed and didn't want to give me an answer. I understand they're busy, but they should really treat their clients better. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all.
