My mother came here for help recovering from a stroke and was unable to walk and could barely talk. Over the course of a few months, she was up and walking and talking a lot more all thanks to the nursing and therapy staff giving her extra care and being patient with her. I also want to thank the D.O.N. Mrs. Felicia Hayes because she would come herself many times and encourage my mom when she needed it the most on her walking progress. Overall the staff's treatment was timely, clean, and considerate and I am thankful that they were in charge of seeing her recovery through. I also would like to add that the room the resident stayed in was all to herself and had a personal bathroom, closet, table, television, and trashcan. All are very useful and much needed for her care.

This place is a joke!!! The care and cna's and nurses are absolutely a nightmare!!! My 90 year old dad was admitted to this hell holed!!! After battling with pneumonia and severe carpal tunnel in both hands!!!!
This place is so outdated!!! The rooms look like a previous boiler room!!! Makeshift closet space!!! 1950
Broken down beds. Which looks like a toddler size bed!!! My dad is 6.3 height., and his feet hanging over the foot of bed!!! When i asked the nurse supervisor about getting a bigger bed for my dad... she said there a waiting list... and when i called her back to check on updates... she became very nasty with me!!! the cna ashley...told my dad.. he just wait and see if she would help him!!! When i reported issues with the nurse supervisor (kim) she ignored my complaint and had a attitude as if she she could care less!!! and immediately change the subject!!! This is why the staff feels very comfortable mistreating the residents... because they already know there's absolutely no consequences for their bad and unprofessional behavior!!! Complaining to the Adminitrator (Lisa) is a JOKE!!!! She does absolutely nothing but sit on her butt!!! Waiting on the next payday!!!! Obviously she doesn't care about the residents!!! The food is horrible and i would feed it to my animal!!!! In fact i wouldn't place my animal in this dungeon!!!!!

I know patient updates and any changes in behavior of loved one could have been communicated much better. When dementia patients can refuse or make poor choices for themselves, that is when I question Management staff. (Perhaps I did not get the memo) I would like to know if there are problems. I do not care for ultimatums just results. I have been more than welling to work
with all staff. This is a reflection on nursing management, not nursing staff.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort.

They neglect their patients and you need to be on them for them to get things done.
