Find any place but here! I was here for three weeks, experienced ignorant staff versus traveling staff, traveling staff were happy and liked people permanent staff did not like people. I was woken up too early for Dialysis and was told if I didn’t get up that I was refusing and I would die and that was my choice! Was woken up one morning by a CNA standing at the end of the bed yelling “hello hello!“ Than having the bed kicked! One CNA came in and ripped my pamper that I was wearing, tangled a new clean one in my legs, with my Foley, pulled off my gown, and left me sitting there naked on the bed with the door open having left the room! Physical therapy staff were the best out of this place, the food is trying to be good, when you hit the button to call a nurse or CNA, you can wait up to one hour. Social services Director will tell you you met with them, when you’ve never met anybody, requested information never delivered, being told to set up your own Dialysis, when it was their own job, being told not to argue with them!

Was there for rehab and was discharged before I was ready according to mydr. They didn't keep my family apprised of my progress and nurses snubbed family when they telephoned. When I got home, there was no equipment for me, no walker, no bath chair, nothing I needed!! Do not take a family member to this place!!

Yes! They took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

Somewhat. It was a little excessive

They were decent

No, they could have used some continuing education courses

The staff was rude. After being told we were transferring him out of state to be cared for when he was transferred to a local hospital with a blood clot in his leg that he incurred during his stay there they showed up and pressured him to try to pay out of pocket for a months worth of stay there. When told he would be transferred back to their facility with full coverage of the insurance they denied him stating family wasn't serious about long term goals. Now in death I receive weekly bills even after informing them of his passing and giving copies of his death certificate. I work in healthcare and never have I seen such terrible treatment of a patient and his family.

While this facility seems to have strong reviews from those who do not have loved ones with dementia, I would NOT recommend it if your loved one can’t speak and do for themselves. While there were some good people in the locked dementia unit, the overall experience has been horrible and the majority of the staff seem overwhelmed or burned out. They made the difficult situation of putting a loved one in fulltime care worse. There was a lack of care on most days. My parent was left to sit in urine and in pain for hours. If someone had taken them to a restroom they could have and would have used it. We finally resorted to having a family friend come to help bath, change bed linen and provide care during the days while we madly worked to relocate our loved one. The areas seem to operate separately and the other areas (non-locked dementia) seem to work better for those in their care, the facility was clean and the food seemed OK to pretty good.
