Nursing home is very depressing. Very outdated as well. Some of the staff were just plain mean to the residents. No physical activities for the 2nd floor.
Think if you had to stay there indefinitely.
How awful. I think people who are in charge
there need to make it a pleasant and uplifting place to stay. These people are paying a lot for such little service.
What a bad mark on our society to see residents treated like this. Not even a library or any books for people. Maybe some games so people can interact more.
Have a minister come in and do a service for the people. And lastly I have been on the phone for 15 minutes sometime around 7:45 pm. Terrible. Show some compassion and care for these people. I don't think your nursing home is at all a good place to have to live.

This place is incredibly outdated. The rooms are furnished with old beds, bedding, chairs, dressers, etc. When my mom moved in for rehab there were spider webs with dead bugs under her dresser visible from her bed. There was also a dead centipede on the floor next to her bed. They are understaffed and she rarely gets her medication on time. When she has her meals delivered to her room, they are often cold. One of the nurses told me they complain to management all the time about the condition of the furnishings and lack of equipment they use. One bonus for this place is that they have the best PT rooms in the entire city. Good therapists with good equipment. That is really the only good thing about this place.

Their nursing assistant staff was friendly, and clearly made attempts to meed my needs under difficult circumstances. I was very disappointed. with some of the nursing staff. This provider makes no effort to get my view on things or meet my needs beyond the very minimal. I don't believe they care at all about my concerns or knowledge about my condition, instructions received by me directly by my doctor. Promised services were not provided, needed pain medications withheld as long as possible.. Nursing staff was extremely rude and uncooperative. I would never ever visit them again.
