The operators really care. I interviewed for a leadership position and turned it down.

If I had another chance I would take this position.


Yes, the facility is older, but the residents are cared for and they are staffed properly.

In the end what's important, the looks of the building or the quality of care rendered to the patients?

I'd chose an older building anytime if I knew I would get the quality of care rendered unto me.

Do not bring you Mother to this place, was a lady crying for attention all the time I was there, I felt sorry for her.
some nursing were outside smoking on the phone while some of the residents need help.

The facility is old and falling apart. If your family member is wheelchair bound you should not put them in this facility. There is one bedroom that has a bathroom that semi-passes as handicap but you still can't get a wheel chair into that bathroom. The only place you can roll a wheelchair into is the shower room. So, if your wheel-chair bound family members needs to roll into a bathroom in their wheelchair, they will have to wait till they are done with daily showers or deal with the staff being mean to them and making them feel bad that they have to use the bathroom. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They also didn't take care of my mother's legs and she had cellulitous and they never called the doctor nor sent her to acute care to have it checked. You would think the nursing staff would know what this is. She got out on a Friday at 5pm and by Saturday morning was back in the ER with the cellulitous and had to spend another 8 days in hospital then 25 days in another rehab facility. Do NOT send your family member here!
