They would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

I visited several nursing homes after my mother was hospitalized. I had never had a need for a nursing home so I had no idea what to look for. The hospital case manager gave me a list of places to look at and questions to ask. Madison House was the second place I toured. The first facility i went to gave me a quick tour and told me to look on line if I needed more info. The admissions coordinator at Madsion House gave me a very detailed tour of the entire center and sat with me in her office for a great deal of time and answered questions I didn't even know I had. I decided to have my mother go there. She was admitted the next day. The staff was very welcoming to both of us. My mother was very apprehensive about moving and working with therapy because of her pain. The PT staff were very patient and encouraging with her. I found the aids to be very kind. My mother did not want any male attendants and they made sure that happened. 15 days later, she left and looked better than she had in years. VNa nurses followed up with her at home after she left. We would use Madison House again, we just hope not to have to.

This place is horrendous. There is a substandard level of medical care. The food is cold, consistently. The attendants do not respond in a timely manner and do not show respect and care for the patients. I could go on. We moved my mother after she was here for one day. We couldn't even verify if they were giving her meds and taking her vitals after her discharge from the hospital. Go somewhere else if you can.

The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places.
