Golden Years is a clean loving facility. We had been several other places where I can say there were some people who seemed very caring. At Golden Years EVERY SINGLE PERSON regardless of position treats the residents and each other with respect. They make an extr edfort at enrichment, and i I was a little older I would move in myself!

I have placed my grandmother at this facility. This facility building is older than some in the area, but the service is superb. I would highly recommend this location because 1) the intake staff is right there going over and beyond their job responsibilities 2) the nursing staff truly cares about each individual there 3) the whole staff group will get together and figure out how to resolve difficult situations 4) now that my grandmother is on her 3rd month, and is a very difficult patient, the staff keeps working with her and motivating her. They don't give up. Her experience 3 months after intake is as good as the first week.

The staff works with my family to assess her needs and finances.

I noticed this facility had poor reviews from the government. I have an aunt at a newer facility close by, and that staff is never as quick and responsive as Golden Years. I think this location got bad reviews due to the building being so much older that the appearance can never be as good as a building built recently. I think there are some other key ingredients to this poor rating, but after much consideration and thorough knowledge of other nursing homes in the area, my family has decided this is the best facility for our loved one.

Golden years should have a higher rating than the government has provided. I like them really well and they go out of their way to keep all their residents happy.

They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert.
