Do not take your loved ones to this facility. The staff there are rude from management all the way down. They are disrespectful not only to your loved ones but to family members. My Dad passed away and it took us 5 days to get a death certificate. They came up with every excuse in the books. While there my Dad was sent to the hospital and they never informed me. Their communication sucks!

My experience with the staff and management of Evergreen Health and Rehab has been nothing but excellent. In an imperfect world of low reimbursement and challenging expectations the folks at Evergreen have excelled. I urge anyone looking for short term or long term care for a loved one to take a look for yourself. Well done to the therapists and nursing staff!!

Evergreen Health & Rehabilitation Center Management is the most disrespectful and the rudest of really just about anywhere I have been that deals with patients. The activities director has very little customer service skills and no respect for guess that come into the building. She treats the patients very vewry rude.

Personally, I think that someone from the state should really do a top notch investigation off the overall way the center is being run.

I have become very close to most the patients in there. The all say I make their day when they see me. I do respect and appreciate how hard the good nurses and CNA's work. Without them Evergreen would crumble and fall. I was talking to one of the employees today and that person was pretty upset. I asked what happen and the employee is upset because he/she hasn't been paid in 4 weeks. Evergreen told this employee that they went over budget and they don't have the funds to pay his/her paycheck but, they have the money to remodel thier dining room. hmm

I mean that kind of stuff is illegal and should be brought up to the state employment office.

Management needs to have a complete overhaul, they need to find the employee or employees that are stealing money, jewlery, and electronic from their patients, and they need a Doctor that doesn't have his licence revoked in much of VA. Call and ask the Doctors name and then google all the court dates he has and all the court cases he's lost.

This place is a disaster and if it wasn't for the fact that every other nursing home is full and has waiting list I wouldn't recommend Evergreen Rehab Center to anyone, unless the totally revamped the Management and FIRED the activities Director.

Find another home, to put your love one in. They are fixing up the inside, but its the staff who needs fixing. They are the most uncaring people, I've ever meet. The rooms are filthy, the housekeepers don't come in unless you complain. They sure do have time to take bags of stuff to their cars. I witness that my self The nurse's are rude, no one ever makes eye contact with you. God forbid you ask for a cup of ice, and the nurse's aids wear jeans, no one has a name tag to let you know, who they are. They dress like they are visitors. When my father was admitted the room still. had the dirt and whatever else the last person left. Believe me when you leave your love one their. you feel like they are going to be abused, not fed, or being cared for.

I was going to see my father today 06/22/13 and this notice was posted all throughout the building... Inside and out!

WARNING

To the staff at the Evergreen Health & Rehab Center,

It has been brought to our attention that there have been over 15 different resident/patients that has had items or moneys stolen from their room. As a representative of my clients and their relatives I have started an ongoing investigation to find out exactly who is doing this to the resident/patients (my clients) of Evergreen Health & Rehab Center.

Unseen Enterprises, has installed hidden surveillance within ten (10) of my clients rooms to find out who can be trusted and who cannot be trusted. The surveillance cameras (Nanny Cams) that were installed consist of High Resolution video equipped with mic and is on its own wireless network and recorded by 24 DVR which can be seen through a secure internet streaming site.

This is a warning to all that is being untrustworthy, dishonest, and being shameful in their everyday work duties. Nurses, CNA’s and the work help at Evergreen Health & Rehab Center should be trustworthy and caring people and for this to happen to our senior citizens is shameful, it’s the lowest act they can do to our senior citizens and it will NOT be tolerated any longer.

If there is a CNA asking one of our clients to borrow money’s because they don’t have gas money or food, if there are laundry or CNA help going through our clients drawers to put away clothes only to find out that they stole jewelry, money’s or electronics, we will find out who is doing what and we will prosecute that individual and Evergreen Health & Rehab Center to the fullest extent of the law.

The residents/ patients at Evergreen Health & Rehab Center will not take this shameful act of crime any longer.

The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs.
