Accounting Department, continues to charge for ancillary cost and or products that are already being charged to Medicare. They (Delmar Gardens) have already been instructed to Call the Hospice Care if extra products are needed for my mother. Their statements are unbelievable hard to read. My father mails their statements to me and trying to decipher them is unreal. I really think most people get the bill and just pay, and never question. At a close $10,000 a month I understand how most go broke. BTW $10k isn't the beginning cost?????

I have been to the facility several times and all appears clean and pleasant. The administrative staff on the other hand is ignorant. They come to the reception area to answer questions and deal with concerns with no regard to patient or visitor privacy, possibly in violation of Hippa. The facility is listed as a Medicare/Medicaid provider yet they claim not to receive payment for DME usually covered by Medicare. No reasonable explanation is provided for this issue. It is very frustrating to deal with this group.
