The price for wellfair is too high. My husband has been there 3 years and the price is $7000. a month. This is way too much. . The nurses say that if you pay by cash $7000 is the price. What does the people with insurance pay?

On the plus side the facility was clean and most of the time the food was good. My dad had to be feed and there were times that I went in and his food was still sitting and was cold. I had to have it reheated and feed him myself. My dad couldn't get out of bed on his own and there were times that I found out that he hadn't been out of bed all day. That's not acceptable. I went to visit him every day or evening. One evening I feed him and sat for awhile and left. About 2 hours later a nurse called and said "I just wanted to let you know that your dad died a few minutes ago". I found that to be cold and uncaring! I know of other deaths that have happened in facilities and the notification was not made in such a manner.

Yes, I could tell they were cleaned regularly

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The hallways smelled worse than any other nursing home I have ever visited, and when you asked for help the staff made you feel like you were putting them out.

Absolutely! I'm always able to get my questions answered over the phone right away!

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance
