cruel care no idea of what hospice is. No management involvement to make sure the nursing staff understands the overall plan. Warehouse mentality.

Room are nice and the hallways are pleasant and don't have "that smell" that no one like which is great. Only been 4 days, but am still waiting to hear about when my family members "bath Schedules" are scheduled. I have been sponge bathing her daily. The trash cans in the rooms need to be emptied more and there is no patient container marker "Laundry". Never saw a phone in the room. We called it from home and it just rang. Maybe the ringer is off and it's between drawers in the night stand. The shower chair had Old long hair stuck on top of the seat. You would never sit on that not to mention the 2 dirty/used face cloths that were in the shower on the handrail. Getting someone rehabilitated is of great importance, but you need to let you patients know that their safety and well being are important to you. 20 long old hairs on the shower chair and old face cloths does not give one that impression. When your patients draw sheet has some "food" on it from breakfast or lunch, change it. Shows the patient you want them To have a clean bed and Takes less than 2 minutes. Without even bringing it up, you have another opportunity to get the patient mobile and get up out of the bed if only for a few minutes. Offer a walk as they are able. You all work very hard, and I Thank you. I've worked and been around enough facilities to know how easy it is to make someone wait when their Call Light is on, yes you could be busy, but soon you begin to feel that You done Matter! That can not happen and Will Not Happen while I or any of my family members are around. I speak for myself, and I imagine countless others, that our Parents are the Most Important people in our lives. Unfortunately we can't be in 3 places at one time. That's when, We turn to our entrusted Health Care Proffesionals to carry them thru their periods of rehab and getting stronger. And are able to leave . Also, for those that are needing a longer stay, to ensure that they are encouraged and allowed to keep their dignity and if able, make them, and intriguit part at this faze of their lives. Keep up the great work, just please pay closer attention to details, Towels, facecloth's, toilet paper and cleaning both your patients rooms and Bathrooms stocked as well as the public bathrooms in the hallways. Keep "Life and Living" at the forefront of everyone's mind. Your patients need it, and those that love them appreciate it. We all play a role here, and look forward to seeing my loved one, Blossom into the person they use to be not long ago. Here's to making a difference in everyone's life. (And in our own lives, the rewards are tenfold)! Thank you and with much respect and appreciation. You have Awesome employees, and they have been nothing but kind.

I was very surprised that they didn't want to answer my questions and the questions they did answer were a complete lie. BEWARE of what they tell you to sign and how they explain it. My grandmother had been there for 7 years. Even though we had problems while she was there I felt at least we knew them and trusted the staff. WRONG! When my mother had her accident we decided to put her there for rehab. When she was admitted they completely lied to me and now they are trying to hold me personally liable for my mothers bill. I am being harrassed daily for a bill that was not submitted to her insurance company correctly by them. By the time they finally submitted it properly the insurance company denied it because it was too old. This bill is for $300! We have paid them over a half a million dollars over the year and referred 3 familys to them and this is how we are treated. I would not reccomend this facility to anyone. There are so many other wonderful, honest places in the area.
