People at Delmar Rehab were nice. The residents and staff were fun. Rehab was good. Alicia and Adam were really good. I also liked Edward (staff). I did not like the food.
Nurses here were great and so were the CNA's. The rehab group worked me hard and it paid off. The food wasn't great in the beginning, but it grew on me. It's not bad. Physical therapy and staff were amazing.
Julie, the night nurse was awesome, I love her. I was very pleased with rehab. I am so much better and stronger. I still have a lot of work to do. It's like family here at Delmar Rehab.
I feel like I've gotten better at Delmar. Everyone in rehab was really good, especially Kellie and Alicia. This is my fourth time here so I know everyone pretty well. It's very clean and the staff works hard.
This facility was the cleanest, nicest, most compassionate place we have ever been to. The care was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to rehab, or for long term care.
The staff is wonderful. I feel like everybody is listening. I can talk to anyone and whatever my dad needs he gets. We really appreciate that. Tosha and Lois are fabulous and the entire staff is so nice! Thank you for all you’ve done for my dad.
My name is Bruce Willey. My Wife and I own an entertainment business. We have been entertaining throughout the eastern shore for the past 10 years. Recently, we received a call from Mr. Randy Nelson to entertain at the Delmar Nursing Home. He was very kind and asked us to perform for their Christmas party. We were so impressed with his enthusiasm and integrity, along with their entire staff. The greeting at the front desk was warm, the facility was spotless, and the food and service was fantastic. Nicest group we have ever encountered at a nursing facility - and we have been to many.
My mom was admitted on August 16, 2017 with serious health issues. She’s 88 years old. I always told her I would never put her in a nursing home unless it was her decision. There was a woman who was a friend of my mom, and we visited her when she was here at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation. So I knew the place and mom liked it. So when mom needed medical attention she said she wanted to come here. So we brought her here. We’re from Laurel and we know a lot of the nurses and aides because a lot of locals work here.
I’ve observed a lot. The staff treats mom real well. It took her a few weeks to get adjusted but she’s happy here. If she’s happy, we are all happy.
The Physical Therapy Group at Delmar nursing and rehab is fantastic. My husband is doing exercises that are making him stronger and he can feel it. And now that he is getting to do more and more each day, I can see how it is making him stronger. It’s given me hope. Everyone is taking care of him and the little things they do for him really matter as well.
