My mother has been taking a new medication at Clinton Care Center and is encountering daily nose bleeds. Today, she was found "non-responsive." Now, these are their (nursing home staff) words. I spoke with my mom after she gained conciousness and she refused to go to the emergency room. Consequently, I contacted the center this morning and asked for a follow-up phone call from both the administrator and her primary doctor. It is now 4:30 pm and I have not heard from either one. This lack of concern has become common practice for this facility and it appears I might have to cry wolf to get something done.
