In the interest of not hiding anything, I'd like to disclose that I work for Brookside (as the weekend receptionist). I just wanted to share my opinion of this amazing place that I came into. I haven't been working here for long, but in the relatively short amount of time that I have been here, I have encountered amazing things. The nurses are so kind and caring for the residents here. They do get very busy, but they are always trying their best to get everything done in a timely manner while providing quality care. They are always working, never just sitting around and they really care about each resident.
If a problem does occur, everyone in Brookside -whether it be a nurse, a receptionist, an administrator, or a housekeeper- quickly tries to remedy the situation and make any and all residents as comfortable and happy as possible. We realize that Brookside is not home, where everyone would love to be, but we do try to make it as easy a transition as possible.
Our goal and brand is "Hospital Quality Care, Hotel Quality Service" and I can honestly say that Brookside tries it's best to accomplish that. Even the small details. Families come up to the front all day to let me know how much they appreciate the small details! Really I could go on and on about how special Brookside is, but I won't write an essay here!
Brookside also has a very soft spot and the utmost respect for our veterans. There is a picture of our "Wall of Honor" which everyone loves and many of our veterans have relayed how well they feel taken care of at Brookside, even compared to other facilities around the area.
I can honestly say I love working for a company with so much integrity and genuine care for their patients!

Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines?
No, there weren't many to choose from
Does this provider adhere to the customer is always right policy?
Absolutely not!! They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them
Is this provider willing to pursue advice from other providers when necessary?
No, and they didn't want me to seek anyone else's opinion
Does this provider have a good professional reputation within your community?
No, they aren't known for being skillful
Did you feel safe in this provider's care?
Absolutely Not!

The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff.
