Berkshire is on the up and up! My mother has been there for four years and I have seen such a change, they have started updating . My mom recently needed to attend rehab services for a few weeks to regain some strength and the rehab department is AMAZING!!!!!! I can't say enough about John and jerry and the whole rehab team! They are so energetic and make the rehab fun. My mom enjoys going. The nurses are wonderful, the are so loving with my mom , I know she is in good hands. Highly recommend .

I applaud all the staff there for an exceptional job they did taking great care of my young family member who is chronically sick with many illnesses they were very compassionate and professional all of the time every shift !!!! I witnessed with my own eyes . the place is under going a slow but steady facelift and is improving its appearance to a more modern look. My family member was near death twice because of there care we have return back for long term care they rejuvenated him to function on his own when all medical dr say he would not , due to the exceptional care of this facility and the great communication amoung staff administration and patients the outcome is wonderful , I commend this facility is being one of the best in Long Island ! I have been to many facilities . This is old fashion small but better care !!!!

it smells like a funeral home,its dirty,nothing is updated,my mother pressed the button for the bed pan,they came 2 hours later and said they were going to put a diaper on her,so she could just go in the diaper and they would clean her later,mom said no shes 76 years old and havent pissed her self since she was 2 years old, not vey happy,i also knew people that used to worked there

this facility was great with my family member who has been suffering with dementia. They really worked with all her needs and were so sympathetic to our family . its very clean. and staff is very nice. would recommend

I can not recommend this facility.
My mother has lost considerable weight and is suffering from dehydration, and severe bed sores.
