My elderly friend who lives alone, was discharged from The Abington the day before Thanksgiving. Her bed is on the 2nd floor and she can't do the stairs alone. A bed was ordered, but never delivered. Pt was on her couch, unable to get up on her own. How could you send a pt home before making sure it was safe to do so? I think this is horrible and I would never trust you with my family!
