Case worker, Tamara, was very informative, helpful, always in good spirits, always had time to listen; Kindred is lucky to have an employee of her ,at unity and professionalism! Now - let me tell you of the cafeteria. I writing I ask for sugar substitute - I get regular sugar. I get butter but no bread, and the coffee was always cold by the time it got to my room. I hardly ever got what I ordered. Someone wrote NPO on the bottom of my menu on 4/27 when I left for a procedure on the 26th - then all day on the 27th I got food I did not order... A little common sense could have cleared this up, but unfortunately, common sense was lacking... A bit more supervision of the meals before they leave the kitchen would help clear this issue up. They did make me two sandwiches each night for late night dining - and those sandwiches were always made very well. Carmen was really great and did bring me what I wanted, she is truly a special one! But the food services prevent me from listing a 5 star hospital.
