30 years ago, my baby was transferred from Magee Women's Hospital to TIC. At that time, it was the only neonatal intensive care unit in the country. The difference this hospital made in our lives was tremendous! Instead of lights and noise 24 hours a day, it was quiet and restful, family rooms to be with the babies in privacy were a wonderful way to get to know my baby and learn how to care for his special needs. The staff were so wonderful, sympathetic, personable, and kind. It was the best decision we made in the life of my baby.
