I had a failed prostate microwaving followed by THREE failed TURP prostate operations. i was told that ONE woujld fix my problem of slow urinary flow. I ended up wtill with that problem plus HORRORS I was never warned about-- Sexual sensation loss that is devistating and Peyronie's Disease from damage to my urethra during the operations...I would have been bett off I think with a WITCH DOCTOR or a veternarian working on me. Know that what happened to me could happen to you. I have had THREE operations because of the damage MANISH SHAH caused from his failed operations

GOD forbid this guy is on call if you have to see a urologist in the emergency room. If you live AWAY from GADSDEN, don't count on him traveling to where you are even if you go to another office his practice has....like in Boaz or Fort Payne......

I first had a prostate microwaving by this urologist that did nothing to improve my condition. He said I REALLY needed to have a TURP (or transurethral resection of the prostate). I did that and knew before leaving the hospital that I was not yet "fixed"---that was confirmed a week later....TURP one made me worse than I had been and TURP 2 only put me back to where I had been. I then (foolishly) agreed to have TURP 3 and it did NOTHING to improve my condition. I complained many times of "testicular pain" and it was always explained away as just "infection"-- turned out to be a hernia probably caused by the 3 operations I'd had in only 4 months. From TURP one I had MAJOR orgasmic sensation loss & then also shortly after TURP 3 developed Peyronie's Disease that was in all probablility caused because of the many urethral instrumentations I had been thru. The Urology Channel website says that more cases of it are now being reported in men who have Transurethral Surgery, such as a TURP and remember that I had THREE of them.In regard to the orgasmic sensation loss, if what I had before the operations was a "10" then at best it is now only a 2 or 3, if that. I asked about it 12 times after knowing it had happened following TURP one and each time he looked at me with a blank look.. FINALLY on time 13, he stated he had never heard of it as a urology resident or read about it in a urology textbook. I found NUMEROUS on-line citations about the condition (Anorgasmia) after it happened to me and I'm not even in the medical field. He NEVER offered to try and help me find anyone who might know something about it. When I finally went to a nearby medical school I got the "definitive" therapy he had always said a TURP would be....an obstructed BLADDER NECK was finally opened and after 3 years of difficulty, I could freely urinate. The sexual problems?
They are on-going and probably irreversible. I have NOT had erectile dysfunction....just the MAJOR sensation loss and Peyronies, neither of which he ever warned me might be a possible consequence of having transurethral surgery....If I had it to do all over, I would take back the condition I had BEFORE ever seeing this urologist, when all my "boy functions" were great....This is NOT what I expected to happen to me at only age 56.
