Oddly enough Dr. Clay was the MD assigned to my IME. Not the best way to meet a practioner. Even though there is no physician/patient relationship in this sort of assessment I have to say Dr. Clay was both witty & kind and he helped make an unpleasant necessity tolerable. The world of medicine truly lost a gem when he left direct patient care. Either way my assessment goes I am grateful for Dr. Clays respect & professionalism.

I am 42 years old. I thought I was too young and healthy to have back problems. But I did. I was hurt at work almost a year ago. After some visits to physical Therapy and the clinic ER doctor he ordered a MRI. At that time my spine had showed some damage. I was referred to Dr. Clay Frank. It was just days until I met with him. I was scared, in pan, nervous, in pain and did I mention I was in pain? I could not sit down in his office because my body could not bend. My 17 year old brought me to my appointments and waited in the parking lot. I could not drive. I wore flip flops even in cold weather. To put shoes on was not an option for me. That was a simple task. I had no life. My kids were highly impacted by this. I did not and could not enjoy my life. On November 4th 2014 he performed my Anterior and Posterior interbody Fusion. A complete Success. I may have a bit of titanium in me but I am Medication and Pain Free. I'm back living life, playing sports, working and thriving. Life is suppose to be about Thriving not just surviving . Amazing! To know I need know care at this time is wonderful but to know that Dr.Frank cares and he will always be there is even better.

Dr. Frank did my spinal fusion on July 29th. For the last year, I battled pain all down my leg and found it hard to stand or walk for even short periods of time. Immediately following my surgery, I felt relief. It is now less than 3 weeks after my surgery and I feel great. My stomach is still a little sore and tight, but that is to be expected. I hope to be back to my full activities in less than a month after my surgery. My friends and family are amazed at my recovery and keep on reminded me to slow down.

The staff and Dr. Clay's office was amazing and very friendly. They worked incredibly hard to get me in to the surgery immediately so that I could get back to work before students reported back to school. Thank you very much Dr. Frank and your amazing team.

Dr. Frank is great. I could not recommend him enough. I had been to another doctor who complete ignored the problem so by the time I was refered to Dr. Frank the issue was even worse. But he was willing to work with me and let me know that when I was ready to have the surgery all I had to do was call him. And that is what happened. All he showed me wasa care and concern. His office staff are all wonderful as well. Always willing to help and there to answer questions. If you have back pain, contact Dr. Frank as soon as possible.
