Dr. Thomas is a rude and arrogant man. I went to him for a hysterectomy and he wanted me to do hormone shots to try and shrink the fibroids. I declined as they shut them your homones completely. He kept trying to make me do them. When I went to my preop appt he got very angry at me for wanting to keep my healthy cervix and told me to go find someone else to do the surgery. It was about money, no kick back from the lupron shots and not getting more money to take my cervix out. So I happen to go to another GYN Lisa Thomas, she is so wonderful. She listened to my concerns and did an ultrasound. There were many fibroids and endometriosis and cysts. She referred me to Dr Bou who is a GYN oncologist and a very very skilled surgeon with many awards for his expertise in robiotics. He was amazing and so kind and listened. He had no problem leaving my cervix. He got me in quick to see him and scheduled my surgery quickly as well. He did a laprascopic robiotic surgery, 1 1/2hours, took a 5 month preg sized uterus and ovaries, surgery and cleaned up ALOT of endometriosis all out of 4 tiny incisions. I was up and walking and out the next day. Two weeks post I am doing great! It was quick and easy. Dr. Bou is affiliated with Marshall University and the best of the best!
