Dr Melman & staff's approach is to over-medicate, trial & error, multiple psychotropic drugs even as the patient is experiencing setbacks and memory loss from the ECTs. Lost over half of my working memory, and still taking 6 different meds, yet Dr hasn't adjusted my diagnosis or looked into changing my treatment plan.

I have been seeing Dr. Melman for over 10 years for anxiety and depression. Ken is very patient and gentle, and he spent a lot of time with me in the early years tweaking my medications until they were just right.

They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. I couldn't believe that they were late to my appointment. It completely ruined my schedule for the entire day. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. Dr. Melman was unfriendly and acted like it was his way or the highway, which I did not appreciate.
