First thing I'll say is that if you schedule an appointment, expect to wait at least 45 minutes before you get to your room. I found it very annoying to wait that long for each of my 3 appointments.

I started having upper back problems about 7 months ago, so my PCP told me to see a back specialist. I read some good reviews for Dr. Santini, so I decided to see her. In my first visit, Dr. Santini told me I have some upper back inflammation and prescribed me to 4 weeks of Physical Therapy, which didn't help much, so she told me to come back in to get a cortisone shot. The shot helped, but it felt like there was still some inflammation left. I figured one more shot and I'll be good to go. But instead, the second shot made it feel worse.

The main issue I have with Dr. Santini is that she was looking to find a temporary solution to the problem instead of trying to find the root of the problem, which, after consulting a chiropractor, lies in my cervical spine. In 3 appointments combined, I spent a total of maybe 15 minutes with Dr. Santini. It really seemed like she was just trying to get in and out as quickly as possible in order to see all her patients.

If you're the kind of person that doesn't care about good customer service, or are looking for a temporary solution to your problem, then Dr. Santini is the right doctor for you. But if you want someone who can truly help you solve your underlying problem and can help educate you with the possible solutions, I would highly recommend seeing someone else.

They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time.
