I only thought he was attentive. He simply renewed prescriptions. I was in very bad situations. Even homeless and missed 3 appointments over a span of years and he 'through me under the bus' when I very much needed his Medical help. I'd suggest this site's update. I'm told J.Michael Marcum has retired from IHC Behavioral Institute and is practicing in one of the Carolina's. I think he would have had more permanent success with my case without the constraints of the more public medicine atmosphere. For me 'Private Practice' will always provide more positive, benefits to patients and Practitioners alike. Hence a much more favorable outcome.
