I have been a patient at his clinic for approximately two years now. I will begin by saying that he is a person, a human being, like everyone else. He's not pre-programmed to be everything a patient wants him to be. He has his own style of personality. He is quite respectful, inquisitive, probing, analytical, and just. He is one of the few doctors (in general) that has ever taken the time to discuss medications with me as though we are a team with one common goal. He does not simply hand you a prescription on a piece of paper and send you on your merry way. Not only is he open to the patients input regarding a treatment route, he welcomes the input. He and I once had a conversation in which we discussed the fact that psychiatrists can only see what is in front of them during the appointment, and like many other "service" industries, they are not going to catch everything. All the more reason that he welcomes any information that the patient sees a need to share and discuss, especially regarding the efficacy of prescribed medications.
However, Dr. Sreenivas gets a rating of five stars in my book because of the selfless actions taken by him and one of his therapists, Mr. Galan. I recently showed up without an appointment in experiencing a crisis. No questions asked, Dr. Sreenivas took me in and tended to "my wounds" for one hour. Thereafter, he called on Mr. Galan to join us in a strategy session for his input. The three of us collaborated for another hour on how I would be moving forward from that crisis and what their role would be in that process. They dedicated a full two hours to my stabilization and well-being. By the time we were through, it was seven o'clock. They both walked me all the way to the front doors to see me off safely. NOT ONCE was the topic of money payment) even hinted at that evening, not once! That evening was about my mental stability, not about business. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Sreenivas and Mr. Galan for Good Samaritans they were to me that fateful evening. God bless the two of them.

Please spare yourself the indignity of seeing Dr. Sreenivas. My experience with Dr. Sreenivas was the worst I've ever had with any medical professional. I had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Firstly, he worked on the computer not saying a single word to me for at least 2 minutes, not even a simple introduction. I, the patient, had to break the silence. He lacks completely in bedside manner. Keep in mind, I've seen other psychiatrists. I'm a college graduate with great verbal communication skills. I sincerely tried and revised my way of responding to Dr. Sreenivas. He was continually terse and completely lacking in empathy. Nearly all his responses to me sharing my most vulnerable details were, "Why?" Like speaking to an child, not a professional. I've been diagnosed with an illness that required further care, and it was met with insulting insensitivity. My privacy was repeatedly violated. He had a receptionist enter the room twice without knocking. Dr. Sreenivas' wife kept peering into the window of the office, like a nosey neighbor, while I was visibly upset.
I'm at a complete loss as to how he's been able to stay in practice.

Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. Not only was their advice completely unbiased, it was practical, realistic advice that I could implement into my everyday life, and it worked. They've always been on time for my appointments. I've never had to worry about them showing up late or not showing up at all. The office was easy enough to find. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. Staff are very bussy, still try to accomadate.
Psy chiatrist very strict tough disceplinarian mean hard work on patients point to succed, each minute worth its value.
