The lady up front is awful! Rude, crude, unprofessional and downright mean. You can't ask her a question without her coming back at you like you are accusing her of something. My visits were so stressful, it was rediculous. The doctor could care less about how she treats his patients. I was so glad reading these reviews and realizing I wasn't the issue after all. Don't bother with these people, especially if you are going for anxiety! It will make the problem much worse!

I have been a patient of this dr for many years and have never had any issues, however, that has changed since a different receptionist started. The woman, for lack of a better word is, weird... This woman is rude & extremely confrontational. I've never experienced this type of behavior at a doctors office, and certainly not at an office who is supposed to be working to help individuals who are going through emotional issues. You would think the dr would ensure that his staff would take special care in treating patients, who could potentially be in an emotional crisis, with kid gloves.

Unfortunately, the doctors reputation will be what suffers due to a woman who clearly isn't educated enough to realize her behavior, will eventually deplete the patient base, thus closing the doors of what, prior to her, was a thriving office.

Dr. Ahmed isn't a bad dr, but he unfortunately has an employee or wife, not sure which she is, but certainly is a very deflicted, mental basket case. She herself, should be a weekly patient or pheraps an in patient, definitely not the 1st person a patient has contact with upon arrival to an already difficult appointment.

People go to these type of dr's for help, not for verbal abuse & treatment from a receptionist that creates complete discomfort. In fact, I would imagine something could be done legally to prevent her from doing what she is doing, given the sensitivity surrounding the emotional health of dr. Ahmeds patients.

If you read these reviews dr ahmed, please talk with this woman, at the very least. Your office was not like this 3 yrs ago... Hope things improve!

Receptionist is crazy! Yelled at me and called me profane names. The doctor allows his wife/receptionist to treat his patients in this horrible manner. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Would not recommend this horrible place to my worst enemy. ITS A PSYCHIATRISTS OFFICE THAT GIVES EMOTIONAL ABUSE!!

I saw Dr Syed Ahmed for depression/anxiety. Very little time was spent getting to know me. Very few questions that would truly pertain to my current care were asked. He refuses to work in synergy with your Psychotherapist because according to his secretary/wife the counselor you spend 1-3 hours a week with could not possibly know as much about your care as this Doctor whom has seen you once for 30min which they say was 45. The refusal for this Doctor to treat patients for certain disorders simply because he treats people suffering from addictions is extremely short sided and unprofessional not to mention unethical. I work in the health care industry and in very close cohort with Doctors everyday. TRUST me when I tell you you do NOT want to place your mental health in the hands of a Man who believes he is the ultimate and almighty authority after a 30 min session with you. There are many other wonderful Doctors out there that will handle your mental health care with an open mind and compassion. Honestly I should've known better when I pulled up to his run down little clinic. The feeling was gritty and unwelcoming. Don't waste your time or money here. Horrible place, horrible Doctor, rude staff that twists everything you say around.

I recently took a relative to see this doctor. The receptionist, when asked a question about making a copy of my relative's records, literally shouted: "Hey, Lady! I'm on the phone! You need to watch your attitude!" I was absolutely shocked. There were stacks and stacks of papers behind her,(can I even call this place an office?). The place was dirty and when Dr. Ahmed summoned for us to come to his ROOM, there was an old aquarium, dirty and filthy, two trash cans of filth, stacks and stacks of paper on his desk, dirt on the walls, an old, musty couch, wires and other computer parts on the floor and a white lab jacket hanging by a hanger on the door that seemed to have been placed there for effect. I sat there wondering if at all this man can truly be certified and if anyone has ever investigated him or his office. I cant believe that a medical association would give such a person of low standard a license. If he allows his receptionist to speak that way to a visitor, you can imagine what the experience is like with him. The receptionist was quoted---I literally heard her---telling another person who I thought was a visitor: "Oh, Ive been here forever. I dont let them bother me no more!" PLEASE someone investigate this man's license. From what I experienced with my relative today, I would hate to think that other people are going through this. Obviously, no one has reported it which makes him very comfortable. PLEASE steer clear of this guy.
