after tooo many pill pushing psychiatrists who would only INCREASE doses of medication. Dr. Wright has always payed very close attention to my drug sensititives and managed my medications VERY well. Also my daughter's after disastrous experiences "child psychiatrists'. She was their guinea pig until Dr. Wright managed her like a patient. He's been a Godsend - have been there for 7 years+

This doctor might be a good doc, as I only had two appts. My problem is that his staff is horrible . Your only as good as your staff doc, so you might want to re-look at somethings. They charged my a $75 for missing an appt that I called that morning and informed them that I wasn't able to make it. You can never get someone to answer the phone or call you back for that matter. Like I said the doc I believe is a good doc, but who has the time for rude a staff and all the above.

I do not make it a habit to write letters about doctors. I cannot resist publishing something about this one to warn others! Danger! I doubt this "psychiatrist" is of sound and sober mind. And intend to file a complaint with the proper government agencies. He needs to be investigated.

He will overmedicate you. He prescribed so many drugs to me that my judgment was affected. I quit my job after 15 years. And am having a second divorce, thanks to his "intervention" in my life.

He YAAAAWWWNNNS while you speak to him. Very inattentive. I would doubt I would even want him as my cashier at McDonalds. Wonder what kind of medications this 'quack' is on. He is too drugged up to even make judgments. His face is emotionless, cold stone flat lined. The only good therapy he offered was occupying me in assessing him. He does compulsively have his clothes laundered and starched.

He made his "scientific" assessment me by giving me a one page questionnaire to fill out in his office. It took all of four minutes.

I should sue him for malpractice.

I had a scheduled appointment and HE canceled it, without letting ME know. He had to leave out of town on "emergency". I drove to his office and he was not there... Big deal. I just reset an appointment.

I had a 4 PM appointment. I encountered horrific traffic in Houston attempting to make the appointment on time. Being of sound mind, I still continued to attempt to make it to my appointment without speeding or having a wreck. As it turns out, I was an hour late. He had already gone.

His office sent a bill for $75.00. Of course I refused to pay, based on principal.

Because he graduated from UH 33 years ago and he thinks he can screw others over?!? Especially people with mental illness who are trying to better themselves?

His office sent my bill into collections. He has not heard the last of me, yet. I will see to it that I get restitution for the damage he has caused. He has wrecked my credit score.

Any further retaliation will surely be met with opposition and criminal charges.

Yes, I am still very depressed and mad as hell at him and his office. Since I saw him, thank God, I cold turkey’d several medications. I feel better now then I ever have before. And it is because I am not willing to let bastxxds like him and - bxxxhes like his nurses ruin my life by their money grubbing schemes.
