Had a HORRIBLE experience with Dr. James Wright. My visit started very pleasantly with the front desk staff. She was very kind. Then it was time to visit with the doctor. I was very nervous as I have never visited a psychiatrist before. He was very nice when he greeted me, had me sit down and ask me why I was there. Well, as soon as I started talking...I was very emotional and was crying. As I began talking, about two minutes into our visit, Dr. Wright began to fall asleep!!!! He continued fighting with his eyes and dozing off the entire time of our HOUR session!!!! I wanted so badly to get up and leave, but I was so emotional from pouring my feelings to him, I sat there quietly until he would wake up. Once our session ended (remember he kept falling asleep, so it wouldn't be possible to have heard everything I said), he proceeded to prescribe me medication (which today I learned from another doctor is the type of medication one would prescribe as a last resort after trying different medications) that has VERY bad side effects. I of course did not take any of it and mailed it back to their office. I would never step foot in his office again and most certainly would NEVER recommend him to ANYONE!!!! How unprofessional, unethical, and absolutely unacceptable behavior for a doctor (or anyone for that matter) to have!!!

No, there weren't many to choose from

Absolutely Not

Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else!

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

Not really. I usually have to wait a long time

The wait wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
