This psychiatrist impresses with his competence and care. He is highly intelligent and a good listener, not judgmental and very compassionate. I have been to a number of psychiatrists but Dr. Garza is without a doubt the best I have ever been to.

I think Dr. Garza probably cares about his patients and is quick to return phone calls etc. He spends a full hour with each of his patients, and unlike my previous psychiatrist, I find myself struggling to find conversation to fill the time. I just could not seem to get "on the same plane" with him. Consequently, I dreaded my appointments but I needed my medicine. I really did not improve much which I discussed with him at length. Recently, I discovered, when visiting a new psych that, as my meds were correct, I was being greatly undertreated. I've heard he is very conservative in prescribing meds - good sometimes but not for my situation - I'm doing 10X better now. In addition to his paranoia to prescribe a therapeutic leve of meds, hes also paranoid about getting paid - I often paid for visits before claims were submitted. Three times he was double paid by me and my insurance. I'll let this go as I don't really want to re-contact him, especially now that Im doing so well. During my next to last visit with him he attempted the "super tough, Dr Phillish angry lecture technique" which was unnessary for my treatment condition. In short, I am doing so much better now that I have left the undertreatment of Dr Garza and am being treated by a proper shrink.

Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all.
