Dr. Shaffer was kind, compassionate and thorough. He helped me through an extremely difficult time in my life - with insomnia, anxiety and depression. His intake process is very thorough - he listens to you one on one and is interested and caring.

They never encouraged any of my negative behavior, and gave me plenty of helpful solutions for what I was going through. They were able to help me get of negative patterns and routines very quickly. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. Not only did they not answer my questions, they barely gave me any information whatsoever. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. A lot of the things on the insurance profile weren't correct. The types of things he said he on the insurance info wasn't correct. He really didn't want to take our insurance. We only saw him once because he said he really didn't "do" what we were looking for, even though it was listed on the website. He said, in theory, yes. In practice, 'no'".
