I really wanted to like Dr. Granberry. After all he is in the medical center of Houston in one of the main buildings. I thought the care was going to be top notch. I was wrong. The staff there at the Bone and Joint clinic is nice. The building is great. The service provided by Dr. Granberry in the other hand is far from professional. He is cold and uncaring. I have been under his care for more than half a year. I was hopping that eventually he would clean up his act and get me better. It is not only that I have not improved but I leave with a bad taste in my mouth after every visit. He does not examine my foot even after constantly complaining about pain. He only took a quick look the first two visits. He is dismissive about my pain and state. Previous visits trying to show him how my foot makes noises he was quick to interrupt saying "I get it, it makes noises. After an accident people are never the same again". What??? This might be true for elderly and some hard accidents but seldom from a small fall. Its not that he dent know, but the way he interacts with you. He has said " I dont think we are missing anything, the MRI is clean". Implying my pain is not real. After the last visit I brought up the lack of examination, and the unsympathetic way to address me. He dismissed it walking towards the door and ready to leave. I asked him if he had looked at the comments and recommendations of my physical therapist. He said "no, I have not looked at your file". Really? after waiting for an hour? The least you can do is look at the history of your patient before meeting him. See the results of physical therapy! This goes to show how arrogant he comes across. He might not mean it, but he is unaware of how this affects patients. I don't think he stayed with me more than five minutes. I am changing physicians. After six sessions I already gave him a chance to redeem himself with no positive affect.

I found him to be in a hurry, late and and overbooked, terse and not very helpful and not a good listener. I like his staff a lot, but he was pretty rushed and did not have time to really be too present in the exam room. My exam was very superficial and I learned nothing and left feeling quite frustrated. I would never go here again and don't recommend it to anyone. I also though Dr. Granberry was not very thorough and not very good at patient communication--no time to talk, dismissive, unclear, impatient--NOT RECOMMENDED!
