I'm pregnant with my first baby and wouldn't recommend Dr. Tom T Nguyen to my worst enemy! The name of his clinic is Advanced Ob/Gyn and after asking what he was advanced and getting his reply of "nothing it's just a name" and "I needed to call Obama" and being told I needed to "calm down because I'm to anxious" by his staff he refused to see me again after I waited 5 weeks for my scheduled appointment! After finding out I wasn't going to be seen and told the sex of my baby his office manager whom I believe is his wife refused to release my medical records to me so I could take them to another Ob/Gyn as if she was upset that I'd found another doctor to continue my care he yelled in front of other patients he wasn't going to see me when I hadn't requested to be seen by any doctor who has a problem being questioned again, I simply asked for my records and he then also refused to give me my records. I was told that his clinic was under investigation by my healthcare provider and told he had no right to hold my records after I signed a release. His "office manager" then lied and said I had to sign another document to get my records and after reading it I told her it had nothing to do with my records and I wasn't signing it she replied ok because she knew it was a lie and continued to give me a hard time! They also got angry because my mother asked what hospital they delivered at and when I spoke to another doctor they said his response was insensitive and being that this is my first baby I'm going to have lots of questions and it shouldn't be a problem to answer them! His offices nurse aid also stated it was strange that he couldn't tell me the sex of my baby at 17 weeks and 5 days pregnant because he usually tells you and confirms at 20 weeks! I will never recommend this clinic to anyone! The service is very poor his staff is rude and he doesn't have any advanced technology and I didn't feel it was a very clean facility at all! I was very offended that this OBGYN didn't even try to make me feel safe by using only disposable, covered or clean instruments. There's no way I'll ever be back to this provider. They are very rude. It was difficult to get an ideal appointment time that fit my schedule. They were far too arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my interest of being a new mother more important! Very frustrating!

Their staff lack professionalism, un-organized, and is very poor in communicate. waiting time is very long, 1 - 2 hours.

I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan.
