Dr Palvadi ordered blood tests that had nothing to do with my diagnosis. Consequently my insurance providers, Medicare and Aetna, refused to pay; leaving me with a bill from Quest Diagnostics for $218.00.

Office staff called my home 08/15/2014 to ask if I had scheduled an echocardiogram and CT Scan of my head and neck as directed by Dr Palvadi. I was surprised to receive such a call since these tests had been completed 02/28/2014 at St Lukes/Patients Medical Center and that the results were readily available to them since the order came from their office. When apprised of this info, they told me that I was mistaken and that they could not request the results without an official release from me, since one of my other doctors ordered the tests.

Two major mistakes for which I was penalized.
