We had worst over all experience for my family member when this neuro surgeon was involved in his care. I regret the day we called him for consultation. We found him very arrogant who did not know how to talk to patient’s parents. He insisted for invasive surgery with much increased risk of long term neurology complications when less invasive options were available. He did not consult other colleagues and did not consider any one’s opinion. He did surgery along with another procedure for which no consent was discussed prior to surgery. He thinks most pediatric patients are pretending when they are complaining of headaches and their parents should leave them alone overnight alone in hospital to straighten them out.
Horrible post-operative experience. Follow up was given after 3 months instead of one to two weeks. We ended up going to another hospital when he did not show any interest in follow up instead suggested one month follow up. We are glad we did not listen to him. We could have lost our family member had we listened to this local neuro surgeon and not gone to other hospital for further management
I would never ever refer any one I know for his services. Any patient or family member should think ten times and get good referral before exposing loved one to this man.

He performed brain surgery on my sister 10 years ago and she was never the same had small stroke shakes a lot and had many complications she passed away in June 2015.

Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located his office is. The office staff was extremely helpful and polite. Their office was well organized and clean. Burke is amazing I was up and running around four days after surgery. My brain never felt better. It was truly a pleasure and a blessing being treated by him and his staff.

Thank you Dr. Burke for all you did for me. May god continue to bless you with all you do.
I highly reccommend Dr. Burke. He removed a brain tumor on Sunday and I was home by Tuesday. On Monday I was sitting and up walking. The nurse mentioned she always witnesses Dr. Burke's patients have a quick recovery. He explained what he was going to do on me as well as answered all my questions. He was caring and his staff was great. He did a fantastic job! He cut my head open and was considerate to leave my hair as it was(some doctors just shave the area). I am just very thankful that god put me in Dr. Burke's hands. To add, many employees from the hospital including a Dr. told me that if they ever needed a neurologist it would be Dr. Burke.
