After waiting over 6 weeks for our scheduled appointment (does not meet Tricare's 4 week standard of care for appointment wait periods), I was called by office staff last night to be informed that my son's appointment was being "cancelled" because the Dr. had "Biopsies all week." At a week out, these are definitely NOT emergencies and as non-emergencies, the staff should have known at the time I scheduled that this time would not be available. I've worked in medical for over 20 years. This sounds too much like code for "got a great tee time that he doesn't want to lose out on." no we've been waiting since mid-August and have ZERO resolution of our son's condition evaluation
