Brand new patient. His office staff are top notch. I am so happy he accepted me as a patient. He took his time, talked with me, looked over my record . I think he is awesome!

A true professional that displayed a genuine concern. I have had to wait a little extra from scheduled appointment time but if you take the time to realize that he is dedicated to the patient it is worth the wait.

If you have an appt..at 8AM.....you might get seen about 9:30..10AM...take a good book with you...and maybe a snack...you will have a long wait...

Went in for a 9:00am endoscopy, waited around all morning. Finally got the procedure around 1. I hadn't eaten since the night before. Very frustrating!

I have been a patient of Dr. Huggins for close to 5 years now and I am very pleased with him as a Physician.

My animosity towards Dr. Huggins is staff related completely, they are far too often rude to patients which I have experienced personally and have witnessed on multiple occasions while in their waiting room. I can't say that all of his staff are included in these concerns; however, without naming names, the primary/lead staff members are the worst by far almost to a point of being entitled to behave in the way they do, I have often felt like they believe they are doing ME a favor by allowing me to be their patient. They have proven on multiple occasions to be unwilling to help with scheduling "onsite/offsite" appointments, refilling prescribed prescriptions, following up on Dr. Huggins ordered "offsite" procedures to make certain his patients are actually scheduled and that ordered procedures are completed as prescribed by Dr. Huggins himself.

I have on more than one occasion literally called 10-15 times just to get a phone answered to schedule an appointment and can honestly say have never received a return phone call when I have left messages. I understand that Gastroenterologists in the City of Weatherford are few and far between so there is a great need for Dr. Huggins services however, every patient that places their health and wellness to Dr. Huggins deserves to be treated with respect and with the utmost of professionalism on all levels of his practice.

Once again, I have complete confidence in Dr. Huggins as a Physician, he has always been willing to spend whatever time is needed to answer my questions and actually listens to my concerns or requests for possible alternatives to treatment types, he is a friendly, funny yet firm when need be Physician that makes you feel as though he genuinely cares about you individually.

I would gladly give Dr. Huggins 5 stars if this review was strictly for him but unfortunately his staff is a direct reflection of him and as a result he along with his practice in general must reap what they sew.

My hopes are that he will see this review and will make positive steps of getting his employees inline with him.

This Dr saved my life!! I will forever be grateful to him!!! When no one could find anything wrong with me , they all thought I was crazy , he listened and found out I have Colitis and Diverticulitis. After treatment I am living a full and happy life with my family again! Thank You Dr Huggins!! You are the best !!
