There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. It was very clear that they didn't take pride in their office's appearance. In fact, the office was disgusting.

I went to Dr. Rolanda Arafiles for a checkup/complaint regarding woman problems (it doesn't really matter what it was and its private anyways). He was very rushed, and went through my exam in a rough and quick manner. He didn't explain anything, and wasn't very gentle. Afterwords he tried to get out of the room quick, but I "reminded" him the appointment was for an issue I had (that's what I told the person when I scheduled the visit). He looked obviously annoyed by this, imagine a patient asking a doctor to actually look at the thing the appointment was scheduled for!

He asked me a few questions and said to get excercise and drink water, and then left. I had no idea what was happening to me, what was wrong, or what to expect in the future. Arafiles just left. I was upset but feeling really "little" by the way I was treated.

The nurse came in and told me to get dressed and said the doctor ordered a medication. Get this, it was some drug that only the office sold! You can't get it in the pharmacy or at any store, they have the only source! Well, this is obviously nonsense. The nurse told me it was a "suplement" but couldn't explain why it wasn't available anywhere else or why it wasn't FDA approved if it was so effective. This is like one of those drugs they say will cure everything on the radio- for four easy payments of...

So, I got nothign solved, the Doc was rough and snippy, I learned nothing, continued to be scared by my issue, and was taken advantage of by the office that doubles as a mail-order miracule cure warehouse.

Just say No to. Dr. Rolanda Arafiles

PS. Another doc finally saw me and I got my issue straightened out somewhat. It will be lifelong, probably, but I know how to take care of it and what to watch for to stay healthy now.
