Horrific experience. Bloated ego and belittled me because I have a physical disability. When I told her I had a hard time writing she rolled her eyes. She hasn't any respect for others especially when they have a disability. She scoffed at other doctors who have been able to help me and said they didn't know what they were doing. Her reputation is well known among other doctors as an narcissists with a horrible bedside manner. No knowledge of rare illness and no interest in learning. As far as I can tell she has stopped practicing medicine because she thinks she knows it all. I didn't feel safe in her office.

I have Dr. Sevilla to be the best neurologist in the last fourteen years to care for my cervical dystonia & migrianes issues. I have had outstanding pain relief compared to my five former neurologists, especially since I am no longer on any narcotics.

I had been to Dr. Sevilla for the past 2-3 years for a tremor issue I am having and have been helped so much, that I wanted to take my sister who also is having this problem. She had to do her initial paper work so that took a little while, but after she got the paper work done our wait was no more than 20 minutes. Everyone was courteous and respectful to us and you could tell the staff respected Dr. Sevilla. My sister said "She was so nice and concerned, she couldn't have been nicer". Hope my sister's new plan of treatment helps her as much as it has helped me.

I am only rating her a "1" because "0" or negative stars are not an option. This is the worst, poorest excuse for a doctor I have ever met. The other reviews are spot on--condescending, rude, & every other negative word you can think of. She didn't even TRY to be a decent person. I now know who the bumper sticker "MEAN PEOPLE SUCK!" was written about. She is not just a horrible doctor, but a darn mean person all-around. She had me in a "box" of what my issues should've been before I got there, & was unwilling to listen to me & didn't give a darn about my symptoms. She was clearly looking for the most profitable "code" to bill my insurance for. She asked a few questions, but she'd cut me off before I could barely stutter a word or two. She huffed & puffed in frustration, rattled papers, stomped around, stomped in & out of the room without any courtesies (3x left the room without a word, and then came back awhile later). She was an hour late for my appointment, also. -Any positive review for this doctor was clearly a "plant" by herself or her own staff. The staff were more interested in discussing their lunch plans all day than anything else.

Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them to my friends or family. Her staff is the worst I've ever seen. I'm surprised they haven't been fired. They messed up my husbands medication, then told me I had to call the pharmacy myself to fix it. Then after his med still wasn't right the nurse on the phone began to argue with me about how I was going to be charged because she had to fix it when the problem was with their office and the pharmacy. After that I needed to get a detailed receipt for our flex spending card. A month later I still didn't have it. My husband called they told him they would mail it. A week later he had to go down to the office where she said oh I forgot. Not to mention that when he called about a bill last yr she said they would mail it to our house and she sent it to collections instead. All they could say was oops. I absolutely hate that place and are looking for a new dr!

i have been seeing her for quite some time and she very much realizes parkinson's disease (especially early-onset) needs to be managed over a long period of time.

this means some experimentation with drugs and dosages and how they work for you. for the most part this has worked well, but at times she has felt i have been upping/changing the dosage on my own or that my pharmacy or insurance company is not giving me all my meds or that they are dragging their feet.

this is far from true. it's taken me weeks to get a refill because her front office has some really slow and lazy workers, one who is always making lame excuses.

I am looking for a new neurologist because I think she knows she can't fix me and won't become aggressive in treating my worsening symptoms or she blames a med and /or its dssage for problems i am having.

plus, whovever covers drug refills is very inadequate.
