I recently visited Dr. Hudson and was not impressed with him in the least bit. I have struggled with acne for almost 10 years with it gradually getting worse and have decided I wanted to go on acutane. I have tried over the counter meds, antibiotics, birth control, EVERYTHING. I did a lot of research on acutane and thought i would be a good canidate. I went to see Dr. Hudson in hopes of him prescribing it to me and HE WOULDN'T. Not only did he refuse to prescribe it to me he tried to put me on some other medication that takes a year to year and a half minimum to work and some women have even been on it up to 10 YEARS. This is not what I expected. So, not only did he refuse to prescribe me what I wanted to try, but he also was VERY RUDE. I am only in my early twenties, but that doesn't mean I'm not smart. I wasn't quite understanding what this drug was that he wanted to put me on and so I asked him to explain to me why he thought it would be good for me. He looked at me and said "Thats why I went to Dermatology school." AND WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM. Basically he was saying I wouldn't understand. I felt like the entire time he wasn't treating me the same because my parents weren't in the room and he thought he could just walk all over me. DO NOT GO TO HIM. HE WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL OR KIND. HE DOES NOT EXPLAIN THINGS WELL OR ACTS LIKE HE CARES ABOUT ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE. I will never be going back to see him....oh and if you're wondering I went to get a second opinion and now i'm on acutane. :)
