My wife and i went to First Care and was seen by Dr. Young just to get a prescription for her daughter, which he refused per office policy. Earlier that day a telephone conversation with the nurse confirmed that my wife would be able to pick up the prescription with a hand written note. Upon arrival, they refused to give the prescription that they already said they would do, then when asked to see the doctor (Dr. Young) he was blunt and to the point. He insulted my wife, was very rude, humiliated her, HAD NO COMPASSION OR FEELINGS for her current situation or for the loss of he son and sister, as a matter of fact he had a grin on his face, said that she "was not a special person and things like that happen to everyone" and that everyone dies. As we were leaving, he said to his staff "She is fired." I would not recommend Stewart Young on Decker Blvd. to anyone. As a matter of fact, he will be reported to our HMO to be removed from their list.
